Colour block and leopard print

When it comes to clothes, I’m definitely more of a Spring/Summer girl, mainly because you can get away with wearing bright colours. I don’t know about you but there’s always a point at the beginning of the year when I get sick of wearing dark colours. As the weather has been gorgeous lately (fingers crossed for the bank holiday weekend), I’ve started playing around with colours a bit more, hence this orange dress. It’s from Whistles and you can really see the difference in quality from say, Primark. (Although I ain’t knocking it, I do love a bit of Primarni.)

It’s still a bit chilly in the mornings, so I toughened up the dress with my trusted black biker jacket from Zara. If you don’t have a leather jacket already, do yourself a favour and buy one, it never goes out of style. The gift that keeps on giving.

I kept the punky vibe with some leopard print shoes from Zara. I wouldn’t normally go for a kitten heel as I feel they’re a bit non-committal, but I fell in love with the print and pony skin type fabric, so I made an exception.

Finally, you know me, I layered a couple of statement necklaces to add a touch of bling. The top one is from Stella & Dot and is great for layering with other necklaces, and the bottom one is from Oasis. A girl can never have too many necklaces, right?
