Channeling Audrey Hepburn

June already, can’t believe how quick time flies, especially when I look at the last post which was decidedly Christmas-themed, oh dear! Still, better late than never I suppose. I wore this outfit for a weekend away in Bath a month ago, taking inspiration from the legend that is Audrey Hepburn and her signature full skirt/ballet flats combo.

Plus it was pretty perfect for the weird mid-season weather we’ve been having (I’m sure you’ll all agree it’s a crime to wear black tights after April).

I’ve worn this H&M one to death already, but mainly during the Summer with a white t-shirt. So I thought I’d switch things up a teeny bit by adding a high neck black top, which by itself is a little boring, but incorporated into an overall look is a bit more exciting.

I found these asymmetrical flats at Zara and knew they were perfect to replace my worn out ballet pumps. I love how delicate they are and the modern cut stops the skirt from looking too costumy too. And then of course, all you need is a leather jacket!
