I thought I’d share a few belated holiday outfit snaps from the South of France as I am now just about over my post-holiday blues, hurray! I know the French Riviera isn’t quite the Caribbean, but I figured this was as good a reason as any to go a little tropical with my wardrobe.
A couple of weeks ago I met a friend for lunch in Clapham Junction, not too far from where I live. I know it sounds bad, but I tend to not go out locally (it’s always easier to go central) and I sometimes forget how nice the area is.
It’s one of my favourite times of the year (after Christmas obviously), and no I’m not talking about summer, as lovely as that is. I’m talking about the Zara summer sale.
If there’s one trend I can’t get enough of at the moment, it has to be co-ords. They’re just great for those mornings you’re in a rush/too lazy to bother figuring out what goes with what.
There’s something about flared skirts that instantly makes you feel glamourous, like one of the cast of Mad Men.
I don’t go out out that often (maybe I’m getting old), I usually tend to do just dinner and drinks with friends, so when I do get the chance, I like to properly dress up. And by that I mean a nice dress and high heels.
The sun is out, whoop! So today I braved short sleeves and sandals for the first time and you know what? It felt bloody good.
This is going to sound very British of me, but this stupid weather means I never know what to wear. I’m either too cold or too hot and I just wish the weather would make its mind up. Anyone have the same issue? At the moment trousers and long-sleeved tops seem to be a safe bet though, […]
Sometimes you have this one special item in your wardrobe that you fit your whole outfit around. Charlotte Olympia’s Take Pandora Perspex movie clapperboard clutch is one of them.
Holiday gatherings are a bit of a family tradition and we always dress up for the occasion. What better time to wear my new favourite dress for the first time?
Although I used to wear a lot of jeans, I’d say nowadays I’m definitely more of a dress girl, wearing them all year round and switching to thicker materials and black tights in the winter.
My final San Francisco outfit post! I have to admit to having a mild case of post-holiday blues, especially looking at how sunny it was in these pics.
Another belated outfit post from San Francisco (got one more after this and then it’s done, promise!). This outfit pic was taken a week ago but seems like ages ago now, always the way with holidays… That particular day we decided to have a lazy stroll around Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 39 and have a […]
On Monday we visited Haight Street, which is well known for its Indie shops and cool street art, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to have a bit of colourful posing fun.
